More Snow ....

So poor Hubby another New Years Eve he is either working or sleeping. So today we are getting about 8 inches of lovely white gold. Hubby will probably be working into the night tonight :O(



Munchkin and I are bringing in the New Year with Ryan Seacrest tonight. She is very excited because we are having cheesy poofs and chips and heath bar cake. I will pick up some stuff to make it feel like a real party for her.



I am going to let her take a nap and maybe she will stay up and party with me tonight.



Hopefully this will be her first Dick Clarks Rockin New Years Eve Party .... I love to watch the ball drop in Times Square. This was something I grew up watching with my Nonie as a kid.

Poor lady got stuck watching us brats every New Years Eve so the rents could go out.

Christmas Morning

This was by far the best Christmas morning ever. Munchkin made out like a bandit and loved every single present. She was super cute Christmas morning, "Mama can I open another present please?" Are all of these mine ???" Thank you Santa and Nonie and Pops !" We spent about 3 hours putting toys together and playing it was soo much fun. Yup I got caught playing with the kitchen and doll house !

Munchkin wants to know when Christmas is coming again ..... ummmm sweetie not till next year ! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone.

Kids say the darndest things ...

This morning Munchkin looks up at me and says "Mama your teeth smell like breath"

Mama: " so you mean my breath stinks ??"

Munchkin: "yes"

Well good mornning to you too ...

She sat on Santa's Lap

She actually sat on his lap and kinda smiled. I am so happy ....

I have a picture of Munchkin with Santa. I know its not the Mall Santa but it will have do (2 days before xmas and I am not going to the mall).

She asked him for a "Buster Dog" she is too cute.

If you are wondering what a Buster Dog is. Its Darby's dog from the cartoon my Friends Tiger and Pooh, The Super Slueths. She loves animals real and stuffed.

I am really happy that the school did this for the children, kudos to teachers at Young at Heart, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

Day #3 of Snow WTF

See I told you it would be the one and only time. I can't believe it has been snowing for 3 days straight.

I don't think I'll see Hubby till Christmas. So I guess I will have to wrap and get everything ready myself.

So I didn't get a good picture of our 3 legged reindeer, however I get some pictures of the snow.

The bottom picture is day 2 and the top picture is day 3. Seriously by day 3 I was sooooo all set with shoveling. Snow, ice and freezing rain "Oh My"


Welcome to winter in New England ugggggg only 3 more months of this crap.

Let it Snow, Let it Snow ......

OK this will be the only time you will ever see that from me.
I always get excited for the first big snow.
We are expected to get a Big Ole' snow storm here today in MA, about 8-12+. Woo Hoo there will be snow for Christmas (it will be nasty and dirty bit there will be snow on the ground)

As a plow drivers wife please heed my advice ... Stay off the roads or they will run you over and I will have to listen to .."what the hell is wrong with these stupid people, why don't they stay home"

I will post some pictures of Munchkin and Dog in the snow, also of our 3 legged Reindeer. Nothing says ghetto fabulous like a 3 legged reindeer.

10 Days Till Christmas

I can't believe there is only 10days till Christmas. This month is flying by, there are still so many things to do.

1. Finish the upstairs for playroom

2. Finish Christmas shopping, teachers and baby sitters.

3. Wrap Ugggggg I do not love to wrap

4. Exchange a gift, I hate toys r us

5. Shop for Xmas Eve ..... need food and stuff

This week is going to fly by ...

Living with a 3 Year Old is an Adventure

OK so some days I think Munchkin is a little bi-polar.

Why can she go from happy to f-ing pissed and crying the next (because I wouldn't give her cookies 15 minutes before dinner). OMG
That little girl is crazy sometimes.

She has more energy than the Energizer Bunny... This am she was jumping on the bed at about 6:30am BTW she woke up at 6:15am.

Its 1:02pm and I still don't have that kind of energy.

Living with a 3 year old is an adventure.

So Munchkin LOOOVVVEEESS Scooby Doo .

Daddy wanted to get her the Fisher Price "Smart Cycle" and the Scooby Doo game that goes with it.

Last night we went to Toys R Us and bought the cycle and lo and behold there are very few games left for it. (BTW Toys R Us was picked over)

So today Mommy is on a mission to find the said Scooby Doo game.
(this is where the story gets good)

Target is sold out on-line, but has it in the store. So I call the store
Mommy: "Hi I'm looking for the Scooby Doo Cartridge for the Smart Cycle"

Customer Service Rep: "Hold on let me check"

Customer Service Rep: "OK the guy back there said we have 7 left"

Mommy: "Can you hold 1"

Customer Service Rep: "No because its on sale"

Mommy: "Seriously my husband will be there in an hour and a half"

Customer Service: "No sorry, but there are 7 of them"

Mommy: "OK, Thanks"

So Hubbby went to pick it up and hour later and to my surprise they are all gone.

Hubby: "ummmm the game is all sold out"

Mommy: "WTF the girl said there were 7 its only been an hour"

Hubby: "Yup they are all sold out, the guy said "

Mommy: " Go talk to customer service she said there were 7"

Hubby: " Yup all sold out she just sold 4 of them"

Thanks customer service now Olivia doesn't get to have her game ....

I'm on a mission ....

So you know things are bad....

We went to the mall last night, the place was dead. I think I may have seen some tumble weed go by.

I worked retail for about 12 years and I really don't remember the mall being that dead in November. I really hope it picks up, I'll check it out in a few weeks and let you know.

BTW No picture with Santa last night either ... She told Santa from about 40 feet away what she wanted. (I don't think he heard her).

I'm sad I have no picture of Munchkin and Santa to hang on the fridge this year :O(

A Day In the Life of a Working Mom

This is my first post so , I'll tell you how my day started





6:00 AM Alarm goes off, 6:01 alarm still going off ... 6:02 kick husband he hits snooze.



6:12 Alarm goes off again, climb out of bed and into shower ........



6:26 Everyone is still sleeping ...... Come on wake up people. Now the craziness starts ...



I have to get myself, and Munchkin ready for school/work in about 45 minutes.



I try, to no avail to wake up Munchkin ... but Dog is awake needs to go to bathroom ...



So Dog is on run and still trying to wake up Munchkin, while Hubby is asking me what I need taken out to the car.



While getting Munchkin dressed while she is half asleep ......



Wifey-Ummm Backpack, Pocket Book, and Lunches .......

Hubby-"what backpack ?"

Wifey-"blue one hanging on the chair"

Hubby- "what lunch ?"

Wifey-"the only one in the fridge" (what are you stupid today)

Hubby-"what lunch bag do I put it in?"

Wifey-"The Cars one" (Is this the first fricken time you have done this, what is wrong with that man)



Hubby-"Where's your pocket book ????"

Wifey-" Are you kidding me ? Its hanging on the chair"





This was how my morning started ... I hope it gets better.
